Recent
advances in the brain sciences and technology have created
an opportunity for educators to unlock the extraordinary
potential of every learner. We have seized that opportunity,
examined research-based learning theory, and developed an
integrated theoretical and practical model for the development
of curriculum, methodology, and assessment in the community
college. Our goal is the creation of meaningful learning
experiences equally accessible by all students, regardless
of wide differences in culture, information processing,
learning styles, and individual strengths and challenges. |
